Argos technician installing a ceiling fan in an apartment unit

Handyman Services in Northern Virginia

Drywall patching, punch lists, TV mounting, ceiling fans and light fixtures — done by the crew that is already on your property. Upfront quotes, no minimums, and no separate vendor to schedule.

What we handle

Repairs and make-ready

  • Drywall patching, texture matching and paint touch-up
  • Punch lists ahead of a move-in or an inspection
  • Door, lock and hardware adjustment and replacement
  • Blind, shelf, closet and cabinet repair
  • Caulking, grout and general bathroom and kitchen touch-ups

Installations

  • TV mounting — level, secure, wires concealed
  • Ceiling fans and light fixtures
  • Bathroom and kitchen hardware, mirrors and shelving
  • Smart locks, doorbells and thermostats

For property managers

The value is not the individual repair — it is that the person doing it is already walking your property every night for trash valet or common-area cleaning. There is no separate mobilization, no waiting three days for a vendor window, and no fifth invoice to reconcile.

Handyman work sits in our Tier 3 pricing: quoted per job, no minimums, attaching to your existing agreement. Punch lists before a lease-up or an ownership walk are where it usually pays for itself.

For residents

If Argos serves your community, you can book us directly for your own to-do list — TV mounting, ceiling fan installation, drywall repair, shelving, and general home-improvement work. You get an upfront quote before we start, and the same crew your property manager already trusts.

No minimums, no call-out fee for a quote, and we clean up after ourselves. Use the quote form and pick Resident — handyman request, or just call.

What we do not do

We are straight about the edges of our scope. Work requiring a licensed electrician or plumber — panel work, new circuits, repiping, gas lines — we refer out rather than take on. Minor electrical like swapping a ceiling fan or a light fixture is squarely in scope; rewiring a unit is not.

Pricing

Every job is quoted up front, before any work starts. No minimums and no surprises on the invoice. For property managers on an existing Argos contract, handyman work is added to the same monthly invoice rather than billed separately.

Frequently asked

How much do your handyman services cost?

Every job is quoted up front before work starts, with no minimums and no call-out fee for the quote itself. Call 703 829 0646 or use the quote form and describe the job.

Can residents book Argos directly, or only property managers?

Residents in communities we serve can book directly — landscaping, drywall repair, minor electrical like ceiling fan installation, TV mounting and general home improvement. Pick "Resident — handyman request" on the quote form.

Do you mount TVs and install ceiling fans?

Yes — both are among our most requested jobs. TVs are mounted level and secure with wires concealed, and ceiling fans and light fixtures are a routine swap for our crews.

Do you do electrical or plumbing work?

Minor electrical such as ceiling fans, light fixtures and hardware — yes. Anything needing a licensed electrician or plumber, such as panel work, new circuits or repiping, we refer out rather than take on.

How quickly can you come out?

Handyman and installation work is quoted per job, usually same or next business day. Recurring contract work runs on your schedule.
